My first 3D sculpt was done in Autodesk Fusion 360 in the sculpt environment. For this project, I wanted to challenge myself. I decided to make a hardhat in Solidworks without using any sculpting functions or surface modelling. Overall, I am quite happy with how it turned out but I think a bit more planning would have helped with sizing of the features on the outside since, to me, some of them seem disproportionate to each other. The render on the right is a mock up of one my original characters, Leo the puffball, wearing the hat.
