


This model was made in SolidWorks to demonstrate how splits can easily create curved parts that fit together in the MechEngage workshop.
This rectangular puzzle was made by creating splits in the original rectangular prism along sketched splines to create complex curves that fit together perfectly. These split bodies were then made into separate parts and reassembled in an assembly, as seen in the pictures above. The picture on the right shows the assembly as an exploded view to show how the circular pattern of holes cut through the entire puzzle.
