A character inspired by my 3D printer, a Monoprice Select Mini V2. I started out by doing some quick sketch ideas, trying to grab the essence and shapes from the printer design until I felt I had enough to work with. From there, I combined the shapes into a form I was satisfied with and MIP was born!

Afterwards, I decided to model him in Autodesk Fusion 360 so I could 3D print him into the real world. The model was divided by colour to make my post-printing paint job easier.

A few hours of printing and a paint job later, MIP is finally done!
